Page Overview:

Paragraph

The table below gives an overview of all the available formatting options for paragraphs. The selected paragraph format applies always to the whole paragraph. Therefore, as an example, a new paragraph needs to be inserted to create a new headline. The formats of the paragraphs in the text editor are similar to the one inserted under Sections but the options vary slightly.

Character Formatting

Links

Internal Links (iln) can be used to refer to ILIAS objects or Glossary entries, Learning Module chapters or pages, Wiki entries etc.

Links to external websites (xln) can be used to refer to contents from the whole world wide web.

Lists

Numbered Lists and Bullet Lists are available for use in the text editor.

LateX Code Input

LateX inputs can also be added. This can be done by writing the LateX Code, selecting it, and clicking the “tex” button in the text editor. If the code is not displayed correctly, change the viewing mode to “Presentation View“ and ensure that it is displayed correctly.

Footnote

ILIAS page editor has a special feature that enables the text that should be displayed in footnotes to be integrated into the main text and then displays it with the Footnote function in the page footer. [1] Footnotes are automatically numbered.

Anchor

Anchors are linkages to a specific position on a page
You can use Anchors to navigate to a certain point on a page (similar to Links). It is useful for pages like in this example, which contains multiple paragraphs.
The page navigation at the beginning of this page was created by using the Anchor function.
